Cuckoo’s Nest is a stunning five star holiday cottage located in the heart of Ambleside, within walking distance from the shops and public transport. Cuckoo’s Nest Cottage is ideal for a hectic sight seeing holiday, adventurous outdoors holiday or even an extra special lazy break in the Lakes. This luxurious holiday cottage sleeps two people and boasts an incredible Jacuzzi bath with twinkling lights above; a fantastic place to relax after a long day!.

Cuckoo’s Nest Cottage is only a couple of minutes walk from the shops and attractions of Ambleside which is situated at the head of Windermere, the foot of Kirkstone Pass and the gateway to the Langdales. This popular Lake District destination provides easy access to many of the regions other popular destinations, such as Bowness-on-Windermere, Grasmere and beyond. The town is undoubtedly a hot spot for walkers and climbers (a stroll through the town centre will defiantly confirm this!). From the town centre there a number of easy walks including Wansfell and up to Stockghyll Force, the more accomplished walkers will look forward to the two mile walk to Loughrigg Fells. In addition to walking, Ambleside is also a great place for bike riding, with the myriad of lanes and tracks about the town, the more experienced will enjoy mountain biking.

Waterhead is Amblesides connection with Winderemere, and this is only a mile from the town centre (by electric bus, cycle or by foot!) from Waterhead you can catch the launch boat, hire a boat, eat ice cream, feed the ducks, or simply admire the stunning lake.

Ground Floor

Entrance into Cuckoo’s Nest via the front door leads into the:
Kitchen: This modern fully fitted kitchen is equipped with everything which you may need including gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. The kitchen also has dining table and seating for four.al.

First Floor

Lounge: complete with sofa, digital TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi. The lounge also provides access to the balcony, complete with chairs overlooking the town and towards the fells; a fantastic place to watch the sunset with your favourite tipple after a long day of sightseeing.
Bedroom: with double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Bathroom: The über luxurious bathroom has toilet, wash basin, shower cubicle and Jacuzzi bath. In addition the ceiling has twinkling lights to make bath time that little extra special.

Additional Information
