Bassenthwaite

The Bassenthwaite area is the ideal location if you are looking to escape the busier central Lake District but still enjoy the immense beauty of the Lake District. The towns of Keswick and Cockermouth are each less than 15 minutes drive plus you can reach the central Lakes in a little over 30 minutes.

The Standard Plus Holiday Caravans here at Skiddaw View Holiday Park are ideal for families as each of these homes sleep four (five) people and are pet friendly. The Standard Plus Holiday Caravans have the added benefit of double glazing and full central heating; meaning whatever time of year you choose to stay; you will always be nice and warm.

These holiday homes have a double bedroom, twin bedroom and a shower room.

The lounge offers an electric fire, comfortable free standing sofa seating and Television with Digital TV. The dining area has seating for up to four people.

The kitchen is fully fitted with large range style gas cooker with hob, oven and grill; also provided are a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster.

Outside of these homes is a grass area with picnic table and parking space alongside.

Skiddaw View Holiday Home Park is situated just outside the Lake District. The park has spectacular views of not only Skiddaw and the Northern fells but also over the Solway to Scotland.

Additional Information

*All bed linen (with the exception of the pull-out bed in the lounge) and fuel is provided, towels are available for hire upon request. A Cot and High Chair are available upon request (there is a small charge for these items).
