Description

These former barn conversion cottages sleep six people in one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. The cottages are located just a few miles outside of the popular market town of Cockermouth and are surrounded by beautiful Cumbrian Countryside. The cottages have private parking to the front in the courtyard area and are equipped with everything which you would need in a self catering holiday cottage.

Cockermouth is a popular market town, which dates back to medieval times however the main period of growth for the town was during the Georgian period of the early eighteenth century. The town plays host to a number of popular attractions, including the various art galleries, pubs and restaurants and other attractions, including Wordsworth House (the birthplace of poet William Wordsworth). The location of the cottages allows you to take advantage of this spectacular region. You can walk, cycle and splash about in the stunning Lake District to your heart's content. With more than 3,500 kilometres of rights of way and 12 of the largest lakes in England, there's something for everyone! Also located close by is the picturesque village of Loweswater; a small hamlet located between the lakes Loweswater and Crummock Water.

Ground Floor

Lounge: The lounge has comfortable sofa seating, coffee table and television.
Kitchen and Dining Room: The fully fitted kitchen is complete with cooker and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. The large farm house dining table has seating for six.
Shower Room: With shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin.
Entrance Area: With hangers for coats and storage of walking boots and shoes. The wooden spiral staircase leads to the first floor.

First Floor

Double Bedroom: Double bedroom with wooden floor, double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Twin Bedroom One: Twin bedroom with two full-sized single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Twin Bedroom Two: The second twin bedroom has two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom: The upstairs bathroom has bath with shower over, toilet and wash basin.

Additional Information

Pets are welcome in one of these cottages while the other cottage remains exclusively pet free (there is a small charge for pets). For more information please call us on 0845 468 0936. All bed linen, towels and fuel are included. Cot and High Chair are available upon request.
