Description

This spacious ground floor apartment sleeps up to four people in a double bedroom and a twin bedroom and is all on one level. Derwent Apartment is fully equipped with everything which you would need in a self catering holiday apartment. Derwent Apartment is located in the tranquil village of Mockerkin (just on the edge of the Lake District National Park), and provides an excellent base for the exploration of the Lake District as well as the Western Coast.

Derwent Apartment is located very close to four of the most beautiful Lakes in all of the Lake District with Lowes Water approximately two miles and Ennerdale Water, Crummock Water & Buttermere also a very short distance; which all offer a range of excellent walks and also a short distance away is Wastwater (which was voted 'Britain's Best View' by ITV1 viewers) where Scafel Pike, Scafell and great Gable await the more adventurous walkers. Also within easy driving distance is St Bees Head the westernmost point of Cumbria (and the start of the 'Coast to Coast' walk).

Derwent Apartment is also located close to the popular market town of Cockermouth; which hosts a number of attractions including the various art galleries, pubs, restaurants as well as Wordsworth House (the birthplace of poet William Wordsworth).

In addition there are three pubs within a short drive from Derwent Apartment: Old Posting House at Deanscale, The Royal Yew at Dean and Kirkstile at Loweswater; all of which also serve food.

Ground Floor

Lounge and Dining Areas: The lounge is complete with: three piece suite, Digital TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi system. Dining table and seating for four. Patio doors lead from the lounge into the outside area.
Kitchen: The fully fitted kitchen has: electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer as well as iron and iron board. The kitchen is also equipped with all the cutlery, crockery and utensils which you need.
Double Bedroom: with double bed, bedside cabinets and wardrobes. The double bedroom also has en-suite access to the shower room.
Shower Room: The fully tiled shower room has shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin. The shower room is accessed via the double bedroom.
Twin Bedroom: with two single beds, bedside cabinet and wardrobe.
Bathroom: The family bathroom has a bath complete with electric shower over, toilet, wash basin, heated towel rail.
Outside: Outside the Derwent Apartment is a communal courtyard complete with picnic table and barbeque.

All bed linen, towels and fuel is provided. Pets are not allowed in this property. Parking is also available for this property.
