Description

Grapevine Cottage is an enchanting semi-detached cottage located in the delightful Georgian market town of Cockermouth, in one of the most traditional areas of the town. This newly renovated former Inn still retains its period charm. The cottage sleeps six people in two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Just over the road is the famous Bitter End pub with its own brewery where their beer is brewed.

Grapevine Cottage has a light and airy feel achieved through the beautiful decoration and furnishings as well as through the retention of the period features such as the exposed beams in the second floor master bedroom. The cottage is fully equipped with everything which you would need in a self catering holiday property.

Cockermouth is located at the confluence of the rivers Cocker and Derwent; the town also has a number of popular visitor attractions such as: Wordsworth House, Jennings Brewery, The Sheep and Wool Centre, The Castlegate Gallery and the Kirkgate Centre. All of this makes Cockermouth the ideal place for both a quite and relaxing break and a hectic sight-seeing holiday. Cockermouth is only a 12 mile drive from Keswick and approximately 10 minutes drive from the ever popular Lakes of Bassenthwaite, Loweswater and Buttermere.

Ground Floor

Kitchen: The modern solid wood kitchen has integrated appliances, table with two red leather chairs. This stunning kitchen has everything you would need including: gas hob, electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and integrated fridge-freezer.
Dining Room: The dining room has large wooden table and seating for six and Hi-Fi.
Yard: Outside yard complete with furniture .

First Floor

Lounge: The lounge has comfortable sofa seating, coffee table, Digital TV, DVD player.
Bathroom: Self-contained family bathroom with toilet, wash basin and bath complete with shower over.
Double Bedroom: Luxurious double bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and bedside tables.
Twin Bedroom: With two single beds, wardrobes and bedside tables.

Second Floor

Master Bedroom: Master Bedroom with double bed, large fitted wardrobes, and access to the en-suite shower room. This huge bedroom has a light and airy feeling achieved by the level of decoration and space, the room also has traditional exposed beams, bedside tables, sofa seating and velux roof windows which lookout onto the spire of All Saints Church.
En-Suite Shower Room: With toilet, wash basin and shower cubicle.

Additional Information

All bed linen, towels and fuel is provided. Pets are NOT welcome in the cottage, a Cot and High Chair are available upon request (there is a small charge applied for these).
