Description

Jenkin Farm Cottage is a traditional farmhouse cottage located just outside of Cockermouth and surrounded by stunning Lake District scenery. This farmhouse cottage sleeps up to six people in two bedrooms, each with a double and single bed.

Located on the edge of the Lorton Valley, Jenkin Farm Cottage is only a short distance from the lakes of Bassenthwaite, Loweswater, Crumock and Buttermere as well as and the towns of Cockermouth and Keswick. As a result this cottage is ideally situated for a peaceful and relaxing break enjoying the Cumbrian countryside, but also close to the popular activities, attractions and destinations of the Lakes.

Set on a farm; Jenkin Cottage has a number of Herdwick and Swaledale sheep in the surrounding fields.

Ground Floor

Lounge: The lounge has seating for six, TV, video and Lakeland slate open fire, superb for relaxing in front of after a tiring day of walking.
Kitchen and Dining Area: This fully fitted Farmhouse kitchen is equipped with everything you will need including: electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and washer/dryer, in addition the kitchen as a full inventory of crockery, cutlery and utensils.  

First Floor

Bedroom One: with double bed and single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table.  
Bedroom Two: with double bed and single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table.
Bathroom: Large family bathroom with bath and shower over, toilet and wash basin.

Additional Information

Pets are not allowed in this cottage. All bed linen, towels and fuel (inc. logs and coal for the fire) are included. Parking is available in the farmyard.
