Keswick is a vibrant and bustling market town on the edge of Derwentwater. Keswick is a popular town offering a vast range of tourist attractions, shops, pubs and restaurants and many museums and other places of interest. Whether you are a fan of sports and the outdoors, the attractions or taking advantage of the natural beauty of the area, Keswick will not disappoint.

Arndale Cottage is a quaint and traditional barn conversion cottage, set in a picturesque and relaxing setting near Threlkeld village. The cottage is just 8 minutes drive from the centre of Keswick. Arndale Cottage sleeps up to 4 people in a double bedroom and second bedroom, which can be arranged as a double bedroom or twin bedroom.

The cottage is located on a working farm and provides excellent access to walks, such as Blencathra; which is almost right from the front door. The quiet and rural location of Arndale Cottage provides breathtaking views towards Great Dodd and Helvellyn.

The location of Arndale Cottage provides and excellent base for exploring the Lake District with Keswick and the village of Threlkeld just short distance. Within the village there are two Inn's both of which are famous for the excellent food and local ales. In addition there are lots of walks in the surrounding area, as well as activities such as: Climbing Walls and Keswick Golf Club nearby.

The cottage also has access to a children's play area for the little ones, just in front of the cottage.

Ground Floor

Lounge and Dining area: open plan living space with three piece suite and digital TV with DVD player. Adjacent is the dining area with table and seating for four.
Kitchen: Modern fully fitted and equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen also has a second dining table with seating for four.

First Floor

Master bedroom: with double bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinets. The master bedroom benefits from high vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, which add character to the room.
Second bedroom: The second bedroom offers you flexibility of having a second double bedroom or a twin bedroom with zip-lock beds; you can choose the bed setup to suit your exact needs. The bedroom also has: wardrobe, bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers.
Bathroom: family bathroom with toilet, wash basin and bath complete with shower over.

Additional Information

Fuel and Bed Linen are included. Cot and High Chair are available upon request (linen is not provided for the cot). Two pets are welcome in this accommodation, however a charge does apply. Towels are NOT included.
